1. INSPECT REAR WINDOW CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Vehicle not Involved in Collision)

  1. Perform a diagnostic system check (Click here).



  1. With the rear window curtain shield airbag installed on the vehicle, perform a visual check. If there are any defects, such as those mentioned below, replace the roof side pillar garnish or roof headlining with a new one:

    1. Any cuts, minute cracks or marked discoloration on the roof side pillar garnish and roof headlining around the rear window curtain shield airbag.

2. INSPECT REAR WINDOW CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Vehicle Involved in Collision and Airbag not Deployed)

  1. Perform a diagnostic system check (Click here).

  1. With the rear window curtain shield airbag removed from the vehicle, if there are any defects, such as those mentioned below, replace the rear window curtain shield airbag with a new one:

    1. Any cuts, minute cracks or marked discoloration on the rear window curtain shield airbag.
    2. Any cracks or other damage to the connector.
